About
A Legacy of Artistic Brilliance
It is with great sadness that we share the news of Peter Moller's passing, a pioneering artist whose work pushed boundaries and held a mirror to the political and social landscapes of our time. Peter’s abstract and modern art was never just for aesthetic pleasure; it was a bold commentary on the pressing issues that continue to shape our world. His ability to capture the essence of complex, evolving political events made his work a focal point for dialogue and reflection.
Today, this website is lovingly managed by his daughter Samantha and wife Robyn, who are dedicated to preserving and sharing Peter's powerful artistic vision. Through the art, website and social media, his unique perspective lives on, offering an opportunity for new audiences to engage with his art.
Peter became so attached to his works that he found it hard to let them go.
Some of Peter's completed paintings remain in his studio, giving collectors and art enthusiasts the opportunity to purchase a piece of artwork that transcends time. These works remain strikingly relevant, provoking thought and inviting reflection on the ever-changing societal and political landscape. By supporting Peter Moller's art, you help keep his legacy alive, ensuring that his voice continues to resonate and inspire. If you are interested in learning more, contact his wife Robyn here.
About Peter Moller
(1948 - 2024)
Peter Moller was born in Frederikshavn, Denmark. He spent time in Australia where he worked in advertising, cartooning, graphic design and as an illustrator on the 'Frontiers of Science' strips and books with Andrea Bresciani, Prof. Stuart Butler and the producer Robert Raymond. During this time he indulged his passion for painting, poker, snooker and surfing. It was during these sojourns that painting took over as his chosen life path and became a full-time artist after studying briefly at The Julian Ashton School of Fine Arts in Sydney.
He since held numerous one-man exhibitions throughout Australia, Japan and Monte Carlo. Peter moved to London and had further one-man and group exhibitions in Miami and New York. He participated in the 'Northern Lights Festival' with Patrick Heron, Anthony Gormley and David Mach.
Peter divided his time between both London and Aberdeenshire, Scotland.
